today I learned the technique to use dots of primary colours to make a secondary or tertiary colour without mixing them first.

Today in class I completed the painted bow. To complete this I now know: that instead of adding black to "dim" a colour, you're suppose to add the complimentary colour. Also, I learned that to mix colours, add dark into light. Lastely, Bright = pure.

The technique we used to paint was short brush strokes, with a variety of colours to make the right shade in each section of the bow. Also, add water to the paint to allow it to glide across the page.
